The Lancet Countdown: Tracking Progress on Health and Climate is inviting applications from academic institutions, scientific bodies, and medical/health professional organisations to co-produce policy documents using our 2025 data to translate the latest evidence into actionable insights for decision-makers.

Interested collaborators have until 6 July to submit applications via our Policy Document Application Form.

About the policy products

We collaborate with partners to create three types of evidence-based resources for their countries/contexts:

  • Data sheets: Concise summaries of key health and climate indicators for rapid policymaker reference.
  • Policy priorities documents: Targeted, concise proposals for systemic change, aligned with COP climate negotiation timelines.
  • Policy briefs: In-depth analyses linking data to specific policy opportunities or challenges.

All products are published ahead of COP to inform high-level discussions and are disseminated through the Lancet Countdown’s global channels.

Examples of these products produced in previous years can be found here.

Why apply?

Selected partners will receive:

  • Technical and logistical support from our team
  • Global reach of the Lancet Countdown’s network
  • Opportunities to influence local/national climate-health policies through co-developed outputs

How to get involved

Submit your application via our Policy Document Application Form by 6 July 2025.

We prioritise organisations with proven policy engagement pathways.

Note: Financial support is not provided, but the Lancet Countdown handles final design and broad dissemination.
