Deputy Executive Director

Mr. Aslam Perwaiz is the Deputy Executive Director (DED) of Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC). He is a results-driven manager with a mix of leadership and technical expertise in developing, managing and delivering high-impact programmes all of which in the context of economic analysis, sustainable development, environment, disaster risk reduction and climate resilience.

Aslam has substantive field work experience from more than 15 countries (Asia, Pacific and Africa) on disaster risk management systems and climate change issues in international, regional and sub-regional context. Since 2015, he has been involved in various initiatives of climate change, heat and impact on human health.
