The ClimateCHIP website has been developed to make it easier for people in any part of the world to access measured climate data, climate impact modeling, statistics and other information at a grid cell level (0.5 x 0.5 degrees).
The ClimateCHIP.org website has global grid cell data (0.5 x 0.5 degrees) on key climate variables for the current period 1980-2021 (TODAY)(CRU data) and the future period up to 2095 (TOMORROW) (ISIMIP3b data for GFDL and UKesm models). The site is user-friendly and allow for downloading of local data for local research and analysis at no cost. The website integrates a Google Earth version, which makes it easy to find specific grid cells anywhere over land around the world. Data from weather stations with high number of daily data (NOAA GSOD) is also included. For further information contact Tord Kjellstrom (email@example.com).
