Global School on Heat Adaptation

The Global School on Heat Adaptation, scheduled for July 21–25, 2025, at the Centre ÉPIC of the Montreal Heart Institute in Montreal, Canada, is an interdisciplinary program designed to engage graduate students, stakeholders, and researchers in addressing the impacts of extreme heat. Utilizing experiential learning and cross-disciplinary teaching methods, the school aims to develop practical solutions to heat-related challenges. This initiative is part of the Global Center for Heat Adaptation, funded by the National Science Foundation (USA) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (Canada), with a mission to enhance society’s capacity to manage and adapt to extreme heat across diverse climates and cultures.
