Postdoctoral Research Associate I (CLIMAS)

The School of Landscape Architecture and Planning is in search of a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work with the Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS) program, funded by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The primary research focus for this Postdoctoral Research Associate is bridging climate science and decision-making to advance heat resilience in rural, tribal, and border communities in the U.S. Southwest. Candidates with experience with U.S. local policy and decision-making and an interest in heat resilience from diverse disciplinary backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will work with interdisciplinary researchers, decision-makers, and community members across the U.S. Southwest on research that advances equitable decision-making to improve climate change resilience. This position is full time with renewal contingent on performance and funding.
